And so it begins… this is my sketch for a large painting that just made its way onto easel number two… I’ll begin by blocking in the largest shadow areas first, likely today… once the positive and negative space is established I can start rendering the textures with light and shadow… defining each shape until I’m satisfied and then ill begin layering color… this one should be pretty menacing when finished… Oil n canvas… 3 foot square…
