Here’s a study for a few paintings I have planned, one is on the easel already and at about the 20% point of completion… I use procreate sometimes to explore ideas in how to proceed if im unsure about something, or if I want to try something a bit different before committing to it with paint…I figured I’d share a bit of that process as I did with the last drawing I posted… As an artist I’ve always had a more difficult time with creating images that stand alone on their own… I’ve always aimed to create a complete environment… I like imagery that temporarily removes the viewer from reality… for me that is really what i consider most when looking at a piece of art… whatever the subject matter might be, if it takes me outside of my own reality for even just a moment I consider it successful… and this is something I will always strive for wit the images I create… Thanks for looking!
