Sneak peek at what is currently up on my easel… first pass of paint on this big skull… got the ocular and nasal cavities blocked in as well as the background… next I’ll render the rest of the skull with a light pass of just oiled down black same as I did with this pass… once the whole thing has a pass of this oil glaze I’ll refined that later with more black and then begin rendering the rest of the skull with a slightly lighter grey then the tone I tinted the entire canvas with.. last will be pure white and done…
