I’ve never posted these… the first one, was the first time…

I’ve never posted these… the first one, was the first time I ever attempted to paint a face, a gift for a friend…that one from a photo… the second was literally the second time i painted a face and that one was painted live… about 10 years after the first one… This has always been my biggest struggle as an artist… I’ve promised myself I’ll study more this year and really learn hands and faces… this upcoming year, starting on my bday in a week I’ll really be putting effort into this, it’s one of the things holding me back the most… and I question why because it should be what my eyes are most familiar with and used to seeing…
