Making progress on this little painting i started the other night… first layer was blocking in the main shapes using oil paint heavily reduced with liquin, I like sketching in the main compositional shapes with light films of paint… the liquin dries so fast that I can get right back into it the next day with a light layer of the highlights, next layer will be more refined shadows and more if the background and then last will be the final highlights and “special effects” that really finish it off… Thanks for taking a peek!
