Off to a good start with this one… just blocking in the basic forms which will be quite a bit more rendered when finished… based on a few of the sketches I recently did in #procreate on my iPad… sometimes I do quite a bit of layout on the canvas before I begin painting, and sometimes I like to just paint, I’ll refer back to the reference drawings I made but I really try not to adhere to them very strongly and just let my hands do what they want… it can be quite satisfying and also leads to nuances that wouldn’t be present if I did adhere to the references… painting is fun, painting is liberating…
